Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician with expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and repairing a variety of equipment, including welders, airlines, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and compressor motors. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can efficiently diagnose issues and implement effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment functionality. Welding experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections and perform preventive maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and controls, to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Repair and maintain welders, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
- Inspect, repair, and replace components of pneumatic and hydraulic systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Diagnose problems with compressor motors and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and prioritize repairs to minimize production delays.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults in electrical and mechanical systems accurately.
- Collaborate with other team members to execute maintenance projects and tasks effectively.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts inventory.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, with a focus on electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and controls.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing welders, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and compressor motors.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify equipment faults accurately.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
- Relevant certification or training in electrical or mechanical maintenance is a plus.
