Job DescriptionWe’re in search of a hard-working team player to join us as a janitor. You’ll be in charge of the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of our building. A typical day includes vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing floors, shampooing carpets, and any additional maintenance duties as needed. $17 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Keep the building safe, clean, and well-maintained
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily
- Replace light bulbs, clean windows, shampoo carpets, and supply restrooms on a regular basis as scheduled
- Remove dangerous hazards and clean up spills with squeegees or sponges
- Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs
Qualifications:
- At least 1 years of experience in janitorial services
- Strong working knowledge of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
- Excellent stamina and physical health
- Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail
- Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite is required
