Tropical Escape Vacation Homes is seeking a motivated and responsible Maintenance Technician to join our team! This position will be entrusted to work to maintain vacation homes and assist with work orders requested by guests, homeowners, or office staff. The primary function of this position will be for Preventative Maintenance work.

*We are a Florida Drug-Free workplace. Drug testing upon hiring is required, and employees may be required to complete random drug testing throughout employment.

Responsibilities:

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Perform routine preventive maintenance consistently to keep the homes in top shape
  • Painting
  • Minor appliance repairs
  • Minor furniture repairs
  • Carpet Cleaning
  • Pressure Washing
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Minor Plumbing repairs
• Minor A/C troubleshooting and drain line cleaning
• Minor repairs to wiring (movie theater rooms with sound systems)
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Good customer service skills

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hotels or vacation homes
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
