Event Security Officers needed in Manhattan!

Arrow Security is looking for Event Security Officers in the Manhattan area!

**NOTE: Hours may vary, as the roles are specifically for events**

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Access Control: Verify badges, and guest lists at entrances, VIP zones, and restricted areas.
• Crowd Management: Direct guest flow, prevent bottlenecks or overcrowding, and maintain clear emergency exits.
• Patrols and Surveillance: Monitor assigned perimeters, stages, restrooms, floor levels for safety hazards or suspicious behavior.
• Conflict De-escalation: Calmly handle disputes, remove disruptive individuals, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders.
• Reporting: Complete written incident logs and activity reports for any security breaches or medical events when needed.

MUST HAVE:

• Valid NYS Security License (CANNOT EXPIRE WITHIN THE NEXT 2 MONTHS)
• Valid F01 Fireguard (CANNOT EXPIRE WITHIN THE NEXT 2 MONTHS)
• Previous experience in event security
• Professional & Customer Friendly attitude
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable standing and walking for long periods of time
• Calm demeanor during emergency situations
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Capable of adapting to situations as they happen
