We are seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical maintenance. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can solve problems efficiently and work independently with minimal supervision. Reliability and excellent attendance are essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and determine effective repair solutions.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency service calls.
Inspect, maintain, and repair building systems, machinery, and facility equipment.
Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding maintenance issues and project status.
Participate in an on-call rotation, serving one week per month to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies.
Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience in facility maintenance with working knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of building and mechanical systems.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Requirements
Valid driver's license!
Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience preferably apartment communities is required.
Proven reliability with excellent attendance and punctuality.
Ability to be on-call one week per month and respond promptly to after-hours emergency maintenance calls.
Schedule: Monday through Friday. **Saturday and Sunday are off unless scheduled for the required on-call rotation.
