Position: Maintenance Technician I
Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Compensation
$18.27 – $20.19 per hour
Placement within the pay range is based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

What You’ll Do
-
Perform preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and minor building repairs.

Help keep library spaces clean, safe, and welcoming through custodial and facility upkeep.

Install, assemble, repair, and relocate furniture, shelving, fixtures, and equipment.

Maintain library grounds and assist with facility moves and special projects.

Safely operate tools, maintenance equipment, and library-owned vehicles.

Travel throughout the library system and respond to routine, emergency, and weather-related maintenance needs.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
-
Is dependable, safety-minded, organized, and able to work independently.

Has a high school diploma or GED.
-
Has maintenance, custodial, construction, or related experience (preferred).

Has a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Can perform active, hands-on work, including lifting up to 50 pounds independently.
