Position Summary
Oversees assigned vacant properties, rehabilitation projects, and redevelopment sites for HR Legacy Commercial. Coordinates with contractors, vendors, inspectors, internal teams, and other stakeholders to monitor project progress, property conditions, timelines, and completion of required work.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor rehabilitation, renovation, and redevelopment activity at assigned properties.

  • Conduct routine site visits and track project progress, outstanding work, and completion timelines.

  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, inspectors, maintenance teams, and internal departments.

  • Review scopes of work, work orders, project schedules, and completed work for accuracy and status.

  • Identify and report delays, deficiencies, safety concerns, property damage, or other project issues.

  • Maintain project documentation, photographs, site reports, punch lists, and status updates.

  • Coordinate site access, inspections, deliveries, walkthroughs, and project closeout activities.

  • Provide management with regular updates regarding project status, concerns, and next steps.

Additional Duties: Performs other duties, special projects, site coverage assignments, inspections, and responsibilities as needed or assigned to support redevelopment, rehabilitation, property, client, and organizational needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in construction management, property management, business administration, real estate, facilities management, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

  • Three or more years of experience in construction, rehabilitation, redevelopment, property operations, facilities, maintenance coordination, or a related field.

  • Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, repairs, renovations, or construction-related projects.

  • Ability to understand scopes of work, work orders, project schedules, estimates, and inspection reports.

  • Strong organizational, communication, documentation, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and electronic project or property-management systems.

  • Ability to work on-site and travel between assigned properties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, real estate, business administration, facilities management, or a related field.

  • Experience with affordable housing, public housing, multifamily housing, redevelopment, or property rehabilitation.

  • Experience working with general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, or public agencies.

  • Knowledge of HUD, CHA, or public-sector housing and redevelopment requirements.

  • Construction, property-management, or project-management certification preferred.
