Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Equipment & Facilities Technician to support the maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This hands-on role is critical to ensuring production uptime, facility performance, employee safety, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
- Support installation, startup, relocation, and commissioning of production equipment
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment histories, and repair documentation
Facilities & Utilities Support:
- Maintain HVAC, compressed air, electrical, plumbing, and facility utility systems
- Monitor facility equipment for safe and efficient operation
- Assist with facility improvement, expansion, and maintenance projects
- Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers when needed
- Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating costs
Safety & Continuous Improvement:
- Follow OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and company safety procedures
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives
- Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement programs
- Assist with environmental and sustainability initiatives
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years of industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documents
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and components as needed
- Ability to work around varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial equipment
- Ability to wear required PPE and safely work at elevated heights when authorized
