We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Worker for a Multifamily Housing Agency. The Maintenance position involves performing apartment turnovers, grounds maintenance, apartment repairs, and cleaning. Additional responsibilities include applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems while ensuring that facilities are clean and functional.
Responsibilities:
- Apartment turnovers -cleaning-dusting, mopping, patching, painting, installation of door locks, repairing broken locks, light bulbs, smoke detectors, kitchen & and bathroom faucets, cabinets and vanities, and interior doors.
- Plumbing and Repair, painting, caulking, leak fixes and seals, sinks, toilets, and tubs.
- AC /assessments /monthly filter changes.
- Daily Grounds Maintenance / Dumpster Maintenance
- Playground Maintenance, such as painting, mulching the grounds, and securing equipment.
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g., fire alarm)
- Maintains a vendor list of professional suppliers, organizes maintenance projects and deliverables.
- Maintains work orders and monthly maintenance systems, including order/inventory supplies budget. (Requires Computer Skills)
Qualifications:
Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
Experience using hand and electrical tools.
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
Physical stamina and dexterity
High school diploma or equivalent
