We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Assistant to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to support and maintain the functionality and safety of facilities. The role involves working closely with maintenance teams and property coordinators to ensure smooth operations.


Responsibilities:

• Assist with the daily maintenance and operational tasks required to keep facilities running efficiently.

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repair work, ensuring timely and quality service delivery.

• Monitor building systems such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC to identify and address issues promptly.

• Oversee rental property management duties, including scheduling inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, service requests, and facility upgrades.

• Support the implementation of facilities management policies and procedures.

• Respond to urgent maintenance requests or emergencies to ensure minimal disruption.

• Perform routine inspections to identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.

• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and optimize facility performance.

• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards across all facilities.

• Previous experience in facilities management or as a facilities coordinator.
• Familiarity with building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage rental properties and coordinate inspections.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with contractors, vendors, and team members.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and reporting.
• Ability to respond to maintenance emergencies with urgency and efficiency.
