Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure assigned projects meet or exceed gross margin targets by monitoring and managing project budgets and actual project costs.
  • Develop prejob plans to meet or exceed required production rates to ensure projects meet margin targets. Adjust plans as needed during project execution.
  • Develop jobsite safety plans and personally inspect jobsites for compliance with Company safety policies, quality and production standards, night seal procedures etc.
  • Train and assist other Field Supervisors on how to properly manage and plan jobs so that budgets, safety standards, and quality standards are met.
  • Respond to emergencies on job sites whenever needed (including after hours and on weekends), and/or ensure that proper procedures are in place so that a Company representative will respond in a timely manner.
  • Assist with recruiting and interviewing new employees for Production crews.
  • Help evaluate and vet roof systems, materials, and installation techniques in order to keep the Company on the leading edge of the roofing industry.
  • Educate, teach, and train both new and existing employees on proper installation methods, material selection and use, safety procedures and practices, and general aspects of good roofing practice per Company standards.
  • Be versatile in helping with other needs as requested to help the business and general customer base.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Education/Experience:

· High school diploma or GED

· Four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Valid Driver's License

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

· Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations

· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
