Job Description A reputable property management company in Providence is seeking an experienced, hands-on Property Manager to oversee daily operations across its residential portfolio. This role will manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, resident relations, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and routine property inspections.
The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive leader with strong communication skills and the ability to keep properties running efficiently while maintaining positive resident relationships.
Compensation & Highlights:
- $55,000-$70,000 OTE per year, based on experience
- Direct Hire/Permanent Role
Responsibilities of the Property Manager:
- Respond quickly to leads, run showings, and process applications, leases, and move-ins.
- Keep listings, pricing, and availability accurate, and keep an eye on online reviews.
- Build good relationships with residents and enforce community rules consistently.
- Handle maintenance requests from start to finish, including vendor bids, documentation, and follow-up.
- Oversee turnovers and move-outs, including inspections and security deposit accounting, and walk the properties daily to keep them clean, safe, and attractive.
- Keep accurate records in AppFolio, look for ways to raise revenue and cut expenses, and oversee unit renovations on non-stabilized properties.
Qualifications of the Property Manager:
- Property management or leasing experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented. AppFolio experience is a plus.
- Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend showings.
