As a contracted Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex building systems and manufacturing support equipment. This critical role ensures operational excellence, industrial safety, and minimal production downtime through advanced skilled trades work, proactive system diagnostics, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing & Production Support: Troubleshoot and repair production-critical facility utilities (e.g., compressed air, industrial exhaust, HVAC, chilled water) to ensure continuous manufacturing uptime.
- Diagnostics & Trades Execution: Independently diagnose issues and perform advanced repairs on equipment and building systems.
- System Installations & Projects: Install building systems and support complex maintenance projects within the manufacturing space with minimal disruption.
- Escalated Response: Prioritize and resolve urgent work orders and service requests with a strict focus on operational continuity.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain detailed maintenance records and adhere to strict industrial safety standards (e.g., OSHA, LOTO).

- Advanced proficiency in multiple skilled trades within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Deep knowledge of building codes and strict industrial safety protocols.
- Proficiency with specialized tools and service ticketing programs to track and manage work orders.
Qualifications
- 9+ years of facilities maintenance or skilled trades experience, specifically supporting an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (vocational/trade school preferred).
- Relevant trade certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to successfully pass a motor vehicle background check.
- Ability to commit to the designated contract duration and assigned shifts.
