Pallottine Retreat & Conference Center is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and hospitality-minded individual to join our facilities team. This hands-on position offers a variety of responsibilities, from maintaining our beautiful retreat center to preparing spaces for retreats, meetings, and special events.
What You'll Do
- Maintain clean, attractive, and welcoming guest and common areas.
- Set up meeting rooms, fellowship hall, chapel, and outdoor spaces for retreats and events.
- Perform routine floor care, including carpet cleaning and hard floor maintenance.
- Assist with minor repairs, painting, and general facility maintenance.
- Help maintain outdoor gathering areas, walkways, and campus grounds.
- Work collaboratively with our team to provide exceptional hospitality.
What We're Looking For
- Dependable, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience in custodial work, facility maintenance, or similar hands-on positions preferred.
- Basic handyman skills and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks.
- Ability to perform physical work, move furniture, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Friendly, flexible team player who takes pride in a job well done.

Our facility in North Saint Louis County provides large, small, and intimate meeting spaces, a large chapel, and comfortable overnight accommodation. We are on 83 acres enhancing retreatants’ experiences.
