Job DescriptionMaintenance / Handyman Technician – Popeyes RestaurantsLocations Hiring: Florence, AL | Gurley, AL | Birmingham, AL | Montgomery, AL | Roswell / Alpharetta, GAAre you a reliable and skilled handyman who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly and looking their best? Popeyes is looking for dedicated Maintenance / Handyman Technicians to join our team! Multiple positions are available across Alabama and Georgia.As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play an essential role in ensuring our restaurants are safe, clean, and in top condition for both guests and team members. This position focuses on light maintenance and cosmetic repairs - the perfect fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work and has a strong attention to detail.Responsibilities include:Replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and damaged floor tilesRepairing or re-grouting floor and wall tiles to maintain a clean, professional lookReplacing or touching up baseboard tiles and trim as neededPerforming minor drywall repairs and patching small holesPainting touch-ups and light painting projects throughout the restaurantPressure washing building exteriors, sidewalks, and drive-thru areasCleaning or replacing HVAC filters and performing minor vent cover maintenanceRepairing or adjusting door hinges, handles, and door closersPerforming small carpentry or woodwork tasks, such as repairing baseboards, wall guards, or decorative design stripsCaulking and sealing areas around sinks, countertops, and windowsAssembling or securing furniture and fixtures as neededPerforming routine facility walk-throughs to identify maintenance needsReporting larger issues (such as HVAC, plumbing, or equipment repairs) to managementQualifications:General handyman or light maintenance experience required (restaurant or retail experience a plus)Basic knowledge of tools, hardware, and repair materialsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work on laddersDependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independentlyValid driver's license and reliable transportationWhy Join Us:Competitive pay based on experienceSteady, year-round work across multiple restaurant locationsSupportive team environment and flexible schedulingIf you take pride in your work and enjoy keeping things in great shape, we'd love to have you on our team!Apply today and help keep our Popeyes locations shining - inside and out!
