ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintenance Technician:
- Provides unscheduled repairs and preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Performs mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service.
- Maintains facilities.
- Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Complies with OSHA Safety and health rules.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance, preferably in a Manufacturing environment.
- Must have electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic experience.
- Must have forklift experience, both to drive and to do basic repairs.
- Must have basic hand tools used to perform duties.
- Previous PLC Experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good attendance.
- Ability to take instruction and work independently.
CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND AND A DRUG SCREEN AS WELL AS A WRITTEN BASIC SKILLS MAINTENANCE TEST.
Uniforms are provided by the company after 90 days of employment.
