We have partnered with a 300 unit apartment building in Albany who is about to go through a major renovation which will conclude with a lease up period for 70-100 units. We are in need of a strong Leasing Consultant to help with the lease up
Putting together tenant files and doing rent calculations are skills that are necessary to be successful in this role.
Leasing Consultant – Affordable Housing | Albany, NY
Pay: $25–$26/hour
Schedule: 8am - 5pm Mon-Fri
We're seeking a customer-focused Leasing Consultant to manage leasing, renewals, and marketing for an affordable housing community in Albany, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct apartment tours and follow up with prospects
- Lease apartments and process renewals
- Complete applications and lease documentation
- Coordinate resident retention efforts
- Monitor market trends and recommend marketing strategies
- Maintain model apartments and support occupancy goals
Qualifications:
- Previous leasing experience is necessary
- Affordable housing experience (Tax Credit, Section 8, or Section 236) a plus
- Strong customer service, communication, and closing skills
- Proficient with computers and leasing software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Weekend availability as needed
