The Liberty Group is immediately hiring a bilingual, sales-driven Apartment Leasing Consultant to help lease up 30 vacant apartment homes!
We are seeking a motivated leasing professional with a proven sales background who knows how to turn prospects into residents. This is a results-driven opportunity for someone who is confident selling the value of a community, generating interest, following up with leads, and closing leases.
Pay: $17.50–$19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
STOP — DO NOT APPLY unless you meet ALL required qualifications:
- Proven sales experience with a track record of converting prospects into customers and closing sales.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to communicate effectively with prospective residents in both languages.
- At least 6 months of apartment or multifamily leasing experience.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and leasing best practices.
- Strong communication, customer service, persuasion, and closing skills.
- Ability to proactively follow up with leads, overcome objections, and maintain a consistent sales pipeline.
- Valid government-issued ID.
- Availability to work weekends and peak leasing hours, as required.
What You'll Do
- Drive occupancy by leasing 30 vacant apartment homes through proactive prospecting, effective sales strategies, and consistent follow-up.
- Conduct engaging property tours that highlight the community's features, amenities, and overall value.
- Convert incoming inquiries, walk-ins, phone calls, and online leads into completed applications and signed leases.
- Follow up consistently with prospects who have toured or expressed interest to move them toward a leasing decision.
- Use proven sales techniques to overcome objections, communicate value, and close deals.
- Build relationships with prospective residents and help them find the right apartment home.
- Maintain an organized leasing pipeline and track leads, tours, applications, and lease conversions.
- Assist prospects with applications, screening procedures, and the lease-signing process.
- Communicate professionally in both English and Spanish to serve a diverse prospect base.
- Follow all Fair Housing regulations, company policies, and established leasing procedures.
- Support marketing and outreach efforts to generate additional leads and increase traffic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with lease-ups, high-vacancy communities, or aggressive occupancy goals.
- Experience working in a commission-based or goal-driven sales environment.
- Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, RealPage/OneSite, MRI, or AppFolio.
- A demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets, conversion goals, or leasing quotas.
Who We're Looking For
We need a closer, not just a tour guide. The ideal candidate is competitive, proactive, persuasive, and motivated by results. You should be comfortable asking for the lease, following up until you get an answer, and taking ownership of your sales pipeline.
If you have strong sales skills, are fluent in English and Spanish, and know how to turn apartment prospects into signed leases, we want to hear from you!
Important: Leasing and sales experience, bilingual communication skills, and Fair Housing familiarity will be verified prior to placement.
