Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Maintenance Manager to join our team in a dynamic food manufacturing facility. This role is essential in ensuring the seamless operation of our production equipment. As a Production Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of factory equipment, utilities, and facilities to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. You will lead a dedicated team of engineers and technicians; you’ll manage both reactive and preventative maintenance across our facility. You will also be required to do about 60% hands-on and 40% administrative work.

Duties Include

  • Oversee daily maintenance operations of the plant and production lines.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the maintenance team.
  • Manage contractors, spare parts inventory, and maintenance budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to maintain production and warehouse equipment while partnering with Director of Facilities for overall building maintenance.

Experience Required

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant maintenance management experience/ supervision
  • Expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic maintenance.
  • Microsoft application experience: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience in Food Manufacturing
  • HACCAP certified
  • Ammonia certification

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a plant production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job in the plant, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to airborne particles. Employees may be exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures that range from below zero (0) degrees Fahrenheit to over ninety (90) degrees Fahrenheit. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. While in the plant, the employee is required to utilize the required personal protective equipment
