Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join a respected property management team in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for performing general maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs on residential and commercial buildings. Duties include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, groundskeeping, and overall upkeep of the facilities. Ideal candidates are bilingual (Spanish/English), professional in appearance, and possess a strong mechanical aptitude.Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Assist with grounds maintenance, including landscaping and power washing
- Complete daily work orders and maintain assigned equipment
- Keep shop, storage, and equipment rooms clean, secure, and organized
- Operate motorized equipment and company vehicles to transport supplies to job sites
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in building maintenance or construction
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions
