ResponsibilitiesAs a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN), here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do: 
<ul>
<li>Provide home-based care to patients with illnesses, injuries and chronic diseases—often after discharge from a hospital, rehab or nursing facility.</li>
<li>Work with a team of physicians and oversee a multidisciplinary team providing patient care.</li>
<li>Examine patients, do assessments, document progress, and report changes to their physician.</li>
<li>Educate patients on their plan of care, prescribed medication, therapy, diet and exercise.</li>
<li>Coach family members on the patient’s plan of care, medication, and home safety.</li>
<li>Ensure goals are met and coordinate discharge from services.</li>
</ul>
Required SkillsA few must-haves for Weekend Registered Nurses (RN): 
<ul>
<li>Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program</li>
<li>Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of South Carolina or compact multi-state license</li>
<li>Minimum of one years of nursing experience, ideally in home healthcare, Med/Surg, or Critical Care</li>
