Job DescriptionJob Title: Maintenance Technician II – Automation & Industrial SystemsKeep Critical Equipment Running. Build Your Career.

Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment? Join our Operations Maintenance team and play a vital role in keeping a fast-paced, highly automated distribution facility running at peak performance. As a Maintenance Technician II, you'll work with conveyors, motors, automated systems, robotics, and electrical controls while gaining valuable experience with cutting-edge technology.

What You'll Do

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on material handling equipment and facility systems.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, and automated equipment.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and quickly diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance tasks and accurately document work performed.
  • Manage and update work orders through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Record equipment downtime and maintenance activities to support operational reliability.
  • Perform battery maintenance and replacements as needed.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all safety procedures and ensure equipment meets operational and regulatory standards.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or electrical maintenance experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing conveyors, material handling equipment, or automated systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
  • Experience following and promoting workplace safety standards.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems.
  • Experience using a CMMS for maintenance tracking and reporting.
  • Knowledge of robotics, sensors, motors, VFDs, and control systems.
  • Associate degree, technical certification, or vocational training in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
  • Apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on maintenance experience.
  • Continuous improvement and reliability-focused mindset.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
