In this position, you assess our current operations, identify weaknesses, and install the hardware and software necessary to fix them. This may include tasks as simple as installing firewalls or a VPN, or completely revising our wireless internet system. This is a Full-Time onsite role. 
 
Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Support the IT infrastructure for major race events </li>
<li>Responding to emergency outages promptly </li>
<li>RJ-45 and Fiber Cabling and troubleshooting </li>
<li>Configuring and troubleshooting wireless technologies like Office WLAN, BYOD, Guest Sponsor Portal </li>
<li>Monitor Network equipment via SEIM </li>
<li>Monitoring, investigating and retiring equipment alarms </li>
<li>Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written). Perform root cause analysis. </li>
<li>Should be willing to work extra hours / weekends during Major Events, i.e. Formula 1, NASCAR, MotoGP, Concerts and Track Events.</li>

Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
<ul>
<li>Experience supporting Cisco equipment. (Routing and switching); Cisco IOS, Nexus, WLC, Meraki</li>
<li>Certifications: CompTIA Network+, CCNA, CCNP R&amp;S </li>
<li>Strong understanding of 802.11 radio frequency (RF) link performance, reliability, and quality </li>
<li>Network Automation with Ansible </li>
<li>Certificate based authentication </li>
<li>Strong troubleshooting skills </li>
<li>Strong documentation and organizational skills </li>
<li>Must maintain composer in from of clients and vendors</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills; can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization; create and build positive and productive relationships.</li>
<li>Hires outstanding candidates; has sound judgment in identifying strengths and weaknesses of others.</li>
<li>Drives the team and the organization for results in order to improve bottom line performance; able to make timely or planned decisions appropriate to the circumstances or situation.</li>

Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science</li>
<li>CCNA Certification</li>
<li>Several years of Network Engineering Experience</li>
<li>Comfortable working with LAN and WAN Network</li>
<li>Physical Demand &amp; Work Environments: </li>
<li>Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.</li>
<li>Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.</li>
<li>Ability to squat, bend, twist, push/pull.</li>
<li>Ability to stand/walk for long periods.</li>
<li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.</li>
<li>Work in extreme environments outdoors throughout the year.</li>
<li>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events.</li>
